Dear Dr. Milbank: We wanted to drop you a note and say thank you for all that you did for us on our journey to becoming parents. You were upfront with us, honest and took the time to explain Bill’s situation to us and give us our options. Most importantly, you were very sympathetic to what we were going through and that meant so much to us. After two years of struggling to have a baby, we are excited to tell you that on May 12th our healthy little baby girl was born. Thank you Dr. Milbank for all that you did to help us! You are a rare kind of doctor and we feel lucky to have been your patients. Warm Regards.

Dr. Siegel, Thank you again for all you have done to help me. I appreciate all the time you have spent with me and truly going “above and beyond the call of duty”. I am grateful for the time you spent studying in Italy. Although, I am upset with myself that my new lead has migrated I am hopeful with my new/re-programming I will be good as new. Best wishes to you.

Dr. Beahrs, I just wanted to drop you a personal note to “thank you” for everything you have done for me. I appreciated your willingness to see me on such short notice as well as the great job you did in surgery. I thank you for the kindness and compassion you have shown not only me but my husband and family members, Linda was right, your the best! In deepest gratitude.

Dr. Pergament ~ Thank you so much for taking such excellent care of my 4 year old daughter, Kaitlyn. You were so nice and compassionate; answering any and all of my questions. I was so nervous about Kaitlyn having such delicate surgery, (we have never had to go through anything like this before) but you and your entire staff were warm, caring, and understanding. I am so thankful that you agreed to take her case. You are wonderful! Please refer my name to any future patients as I would be happy to minister to other parents who will be going through the same experience.

I have had a number of appointments and various treatments with Dr. Fisher regarding kidney stones. I would like to share with Administration and others that Dr. Fisher is an excellent physician and has provided me with outstanding speciality care in moving forward with my condition. I really have appreciated Dr. Fisher and would recommend him to anyone. He’s great! Thanks Dr. Fisher.

Dr. Milbank: I would like to thank you for your professional service and wonderful manner in dealing with me. I know your time is valuable but you took the time to explain everything, it made me feel that you cared. that in my opinion is what makes a great doctor. Also, thank you for thinking to increase my dosage of meds so that I could save money. I received the scrip yesterday.

A woman whose husband is a patient of Dr. Knoedler, had the da Vinci robotic surgery on 6/9; and in response to the Pioneer Press article that featured our robotic team on Thursday, 7/20/06 “The Medical Arms Race” wrote: Prostate Cancer, as cancers go, may be considered one of the least significant and most curable IF caught early. Therefore the questions could be posed, “Is it worth expensive new technology?” Consider the tremendous stress a man feels when he is told the terrorist known as cancer is waging war in his body and the battles are being fought in the towns of Manhood, Virility and Sexuality. A fact that raises the significance for the man and his wife. Thankfully there are skilled surgeons like Dr. Chris Knoedler and new technology like the da Vinci robot that can take out the terrorist and leave the landscape much less war torn so the quality of life can return to normal much more quickly and thoroughly than in the past. Is the da Vinci robot worth its price tag? Probably not…unless it’s your body and your life!

Hello! I have been meaning to email these pictures of my daughter Kayla to your office, specifically to Dr. Pergament, and am finally taking the time to do so. She had ureteral reimplantation surgery done last April and I couldn’t have been happier with the care my daughter received. She attended the pre-surgery information night and tour and had the opportunity to dress up like a surgeon or nurse. That evening was crucial, I feel, in making her feel comfortable with what was going to happen. When the day came for her surgery, we brought along her hat, apron, and surgical gloves for her to play with during the minutes leading up to her being taken away from us. This turned out to be a wonderful way for her to laugh and enjoy herself, and to not be as scared. I want to thank the staff for allowing my daughter the freedom to role-play and even take a few pictures. Please forward these pictures along to your staff and especially Dr. Pergament. I think they would enjoy seeing them. I only wish the one with Dr. Pergament wasn’t so blurry!!

Dr Sutherland – YOU ARE GOING TO BE MY MIRACLE!!! Thank You for inviting me to the recent “WomanShare” discussion (June 22.) Because I have recently moved to HotSprings Village, Ark, I wasn’t able to make it. IF you ever have another one scheduled, please let me know and I will fly up to MN to attend. I DO have an appointment with you next Thursday, July 21, at 8:45am. I will happily fly to MN to continue to see YOU!!! I am beginning to think that I will never be “normal” again or as I was before my 5 surgeries (from Sept ’03!) YOU are my ONLY HOPE of being a woman again!!! I feel very “HOPELESS” & frustrated right now!!! PS “I thank my God everytime I think of YOU.

Dear Dr. Ercole: I’ve been meaning to write you for several weeks. I don’t know that you’ll remember me, you see so many men in my situation; but I certainly remember you, one of the finest gentlemen I’ve ever met in a doctor’s office, and in the particularly discomforting circumstance I found myself in last November, your qualities stood out even more. You first examined me on October 23rd and performed the biopsy on November 8th. May wife and I visited with you on November 14th. You and I spoke again by phone on November 17th after you’d interceded on my behalf to get an earlier appointment with Dr. Gaertner to plan for surgery. As you perhaps know, the surgery was successfully done on December 22nd and I appear to be 100% cancer free. Dr. Ercole, words simply cannot express my gratitude, not to mention that of my wife and five children. You’ll see them in the enclosed picture we took on December 26th, (catheter bag well hidden!!!). We had a most blessed Christmas, thanks in large part to you. You were simply God’s instrument, Dr. Ercole. Your manner, demeanor, care, sincerity, skill and expertise were such obvious qualities for my wife and I to see. I have prayed the Good Lord’s blessing on you many times since we’ve met and spoken and I’ll keep it up!! So from a very grateful man and his family, our best wishes to you and yours. Have a blessed 2007–and many more!

Hello, I had prostrate cancer surgery on August 30, 2005 and Dr. Stein was my surgeon. I have told a lot of people about what a great doctor and very nice human being he is. I also told Dr. Stein that I would volunteer my time to talk to other people that are experiencing this. Dr. Stein made the ordeal a lot easier, his bed side manners a great. Take good care of my doctor.

Dr. Sutherland, I want to thank you for taking the time to so completely answer my questions concerning Prostate Cancer and the various surgical options available to me. Based partly on your information and suggestions, I have scheduled laparoscopic surgery with Dr. Bertrand Guillonneau at Slaon Kettering on February 23. After reading your email and doing further research and meeting with him, I am ver at ease with my decision, and regardless of any outcomes I believe that I have made the best decision I could. Dr. Guillonneau is very optimistic about the post surgical outcomes – and therefore so am I. I am enclosing a tub of “Choclicots” – chocolate coated dried apricot confections – that we make here in Las Cruces. I hope you like them.

Doctor Sershon: Thank you so much for sharing your talents and expertise with me, and for all it means to my family, myself and my future! It is such a great and wonderful gift that I am powerless to express adequately the full meaning of it. I am truly blessed to have found you and for your willingness to help me!

Thank you. As far as feedback is concerned, I’m very satisfied with the services. With as many patients as Dr. Pergament sees per day, I can understand how sometimes he forgets who my daughter is. After he reviews the information, he makes great effort to go through what has happened and makes sure we don’t have any other questions before we move on. I never had such a crash course in human anatomy/kidney-uretor-bladder function as when we first saw him last year after my prenatal ultrasound. Even though some appointments in the past have gone over the scheduled start time, when we see him he’s very thorough with explaining what is going on with my daughter and what to expect next. We’re very fortunate to have someone as experienced as he is in this pediatric urology field. Oh, and we also appreciate that he sends a letter explaining what we discussed in our office visit to BOTH us and my daughter’s primary physician. That’s very helpful in organizing & documenting my children’s medical histories at home. Have a nice day!

Dear Dr. Siegel: Thank you for all your help and expertise over the last few months. I am fortunate such a medical device was available when I needed it, and that it worked. There are many places I would have rather been, than a patient in United’s OR, but I feel very privileged that you were in the OR with me to correct the problem. If there were such an opportunity, I would enjoy hearing one of your scientific presentations on the Sacral Interstim Unit. Please let me know if I may be of any service to you or Medtronic with further research or marketing of this device.

Thank you so much for getting us in to see Dr. Wipf the same day we happened to be in town visiting my cousin. The quality of our visit was first rate, and the information we learned eased our mind so much.. we felt enabled to go home much more empowered to face the decisions facing our family. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Dear Dr. Siegel, You provided us with on the best meetings we have ever had. This was the sentiment expressed unanimously by your November 4th, 2005 audience, The Women’s Health Issues section of the University of Minnesota Women’s Club. Everyone was most appreciative of your information and thought-provoking remarks on incontinence. You were so generous with your time, knowledge and expertise. We appreciated the handouts and your patient responses to the questions. We learned a great deal and all thoroughly enjoyed your easy-giving, informal style of delivery. We are in your debt. Hello I made a last minute appt. last Friday with Dr. Fisher. He squeezed me in to his schedule and then he had me scheduled for surgery the next day. I cannot thank him and his office enough. They made me feel so comfortable and then they followed up the next few days to make sure that I was okay. He made my day be removing the Kidney Stone that I had! I will defiantly refer him to any one who needs a great Urologist! Thank you.

Dr. Siegel, Once again thanks for everything. I am so grateful that you haven’t given up on me. Your extreme kindness and compassion will be forgotten.

Dear Dr. Siegel, I just want to say thanks so much for changing my life. It was such a pleasure meeting you and having you as my doctor. You are a great asset to this profession! I appreciate how well I was taken care of by all of your staff! They are the bomb! I would tell all about you and have! Sincerely grateful.

Dear Dr. Stein & Staff Just a quick note to thank you all for your excellent treatment last week. Your office “crew” was friendly and very professional, and EXCEPTIONALLY EFFICIENT. Kudos to all of you! With much appreciation, Metro Urology Patient
